There are the seen things that are obvious with regard to calling on God for His supernatural protection, and then there are also the lesser known and unseen. The obvious threats from the Russia-Ukraine war and the instability in the Middle East are areas where we need God’s protection.
There isn’t much being said right now about the drones and how much of a security risk that may be. One country whose leaders have decided that it’s time to take some action is Germany. They’re extending permission to their armed forces to shoot down drones that are unidentified, especially if it’s suspected they’re spying on military bases, industrial facilities, or other essential infrastructure, according to Bloomberg.
As for the unseen, there’s always activity in which the enemy is engaged for the purposes of causing chaos, death, and destruction. Ephesians chapter 6 verse 11 instructs Christians to “put on the full armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Verse 12 gives a bit of detail regarding the battle that’s always going on. It involves principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age, and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly place. But the Lord is always with us and sticks closer than a brother.
