The Nigeria petroleum ministry, regional stakeholders, and regulators are set to drive adoption of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as viable alternatives to clean energy at West Africa’s largest clean energy event: tagged CNG Africa & LPG Expo Nigeria 2025.
This landmark gathering scheduled for March 3 and 4, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos, will bring together over 3,000 industry professionals, 100 exhibitors, and senior decision-makers to explore the next frontier of clean energy solutions in Africa.
The event, which has the Minister of State (GAS), Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Hon Ekperikpe Ekpo as the guest of honour, reaffirms Nigeria’s unwavering commitment to advancing LPG and CNG adoption as key pillars of its energy transition.

As Nigeria and the broader West African region accelerate their shift toward sustainable and affordable energy solutions, the LPG & CNG Expo Africa serves as a premier platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to engage in meaningful discussions and explore groundbreaking innovations.
The expo will be an opportunity to discover the latest advancements in technology, infrastructure, and distribution solutions driving clean energy adoption.
Participants will also gain insights into Nigeria’s ambitious plan to transition one million vehicles to natural gas by 2026, and its impact on the regional energy landscape.
