03/21/2024 Asia (International Christian Concern) – I am Mina, from a city that is 99% Muslim. From my name, people can tell I am Muslim. In 2018, I separated from my husband because he was in prison for drugs.
I first learned about the Lord Jesus from a friend named Rido. My second child was very sick, and Rido came to pray for my son one day. Miraculously, my son recovered. I asked, “To whom do you pray?” He said to the Lord Jesus. I was amazed because all I knew was that Jesus was human. But since then, my second child has never been sick again.
In December 2019, I saw many people dressed neatly, and I asked what was wrong and where they were going. They said they were going to church! Then I quickly replied, “Can I come along?” They said yes. I quickly changed clothes and followed them to church.
While the service was in progress, I suddenly saw the figure of Jesus in front of the pulpit with two people on either side. They were so beautiful. Jesus came closer and handed one of the women next to him the scroll that was like a book, smiled, and disappeared into the front again.
In January 2020, my brother came to see me, and he said, “You are already a Christian! You are a convert.” It turned out that a photo of me at church had been circulating on my sister’s social media.
I found myself in grave danger; my family hurt me with verbal and physical insults, my body was cut and bleeding, and my hands were bruised and sprained. My two children were taken by force to the car.
My heart is completely broken. Someone said that if they took my child, I could take legal action. Eventually, they returned my child.
In my city, there was a rumor that I was an apostate, so the municipal government withheld all documents, such as family cards, ID cards, and transfer documents. In July 2020, I met a servant of God. We shared our experiences, and he put me in a halfway house. Then, I moved to another city and rented a house until April 2023 while selling fried chicken, but I failed.
International Christian Concern helped me rent a house for a year to save and start a business to sustain myself and my child.
