03/24/2024 Today, we’re back with Dr. Aaron Edwards, a professor from the UK who was fired from a Christian university for sharing his biblical perspective on social media.
He, and many other believers in the West, have run into conflict because following Christ is inherently countercultural. We have seen a culture develop in which society values and requires Christians to be “nice” and “winsome” above all else.
Yet, the Bible makes it clear that we are called to speak the truth in love. In order for the true gospel to spread, we must be willing to share the difficult truths of the Bible, while maintaining a spirit of humility and love for the lost.
