Today, I’m excited to share with you a conversation that I recently had with Jamie Sanchez, owner of The Drip Café in Denver, CO. Having developed the coffee shop as a ministry to Denver’s homeless community, they have since found themselves at the center of a national controversy.
Leading up to the launch of The Drip Café, the shop began receiving unfounded harassment from LGBTQ activists accusing them of hatred. Despite Jamie’s efforts to engage in conversations with the activists who are harassing him, they have been unwilling to engage.
A year after opening, despite the ongoing harassment, The Drip Café still has its doors open. Please join us in prayer for this ministry as they face constant protests from their own community.
