01/23/2024 Australia (International Christian Concern) — Australian researchers have published their findings on key lessons Australian churches should remember and learn from COVID-19 and the enforced lockdowns and mandates.
Researchers interviewed 65 church leaders from various Christian denominations and churches of different sizes to ensure Australian churches were ready for the future, whatever the future looks like. Some of the key lessons or findings included:
1. The need for church leaders and Christians to determine what their actual purpose and function is in society.
2. The need to work together across denominations. As one church leader said, “We have to work together better, get out of silos and realize that other Christian groups, other churches have learned things that we have not.”
3. Use technology with wisdom in the running their churches.
