Helping a Persecuted Pastor on His Path to Find Refuge

Date:

01/13/2025 Vietnam (International Christian Concern) – Pastor Lau A Sung, a devoted Hmong Christian leader in Vietnam, has faced relentless persecution for his faith.

In 2023, Pastor Sung’s challenges intensified. After attending a Christian conference in Thailand, he returned to Vietnam only to face harsh interrogation and accusations of undermining the state. The interrogation turned violent when he refused to sign a fabricated document implicating him in anti-government activities.

The police interrogator threatened Pastor Sung’s arrest. Fearing imminent arrest, he fled to Thailand, where he’s been living as an asylum seeker.

Thanks to the support of donors like you, ICC has been providing Pastor Sung with support to sustain himself as he awaits his resettlement in the United States. Please join us in praying for Pastor Sung while he awaits his resettlement, and praise God for giving the pastor the strength to endure decades of persecution.
