Oh, how we wish today’s Brew were an April Fool’s joke, but it is not. The president of the United States has deliberately spit on Christians and the Risen Christ.
On Good Friday — the sacred, solemn day marking the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Son of God taking on all the world’s sins — Joe Biden declared Easter Sunday the “Transgender Day of Visibility,” sending Christians nationwide into a maelstrom of consternation.
Rather than calling on the nation to turn our eyes to the Risen Lord on the holiest of days, in a long statement, the self-proclaimed “devoted Catholic” said instead:
I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.
Yes, on Easter lift up your voices not to Him:
But him.
“Judgment Is Coming”: Franklin Graham, Greg Laurie, Donald Trump Respond to Trans Proclamation
In response to Biden’s decision to “flaunt sin, to glorify sin, and to celebrate sin,” the Rev. Franklin Graham declared that “judgment is coming,”
President Biden has declared tomorrow — Easter Sunday — as “Transgender Day of Visibility.” This once again shows how little respect President Biden and his administration have for God. On the most significant day of the Christian calendar, when the Church around the world celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died and shed His blood for the sins of mankind, the Biden administration uses this opportunity to flaunt sin, to glorify sin, and to celebrate sin. The Bible says, “… they proclaim their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them!” (Isaiah 3:9). Judgment is coming. Instead of celebrating sin, we need to confess our sins, repent of our sins, and ask for God’s forgiveness.
Dr. Alveda King likewise was “deeply troubled,” saying in a statement:
Let me remind President Biden that Easter Sunday is a time-honored tradition for Christians worldwide, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the saving grace He offers to a hurting world. To debase the holiday for political agendas is not only disrespectful to the millions who celebrate this day, but more importantly an affront to the King of Kings.
Pastor Greg Laurie called the action “a profound insult to the sincerely held religious beliefs of millions of Americans on our holiest day. America needs God more then ever and yet this is the stance the White House takes.”

Former President Donald Trump demanded an apology for Biden’s “appalling and insulting” proclamation, calling it part of his rival’s “years-long assault on the Christian faith.”
U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson said Biden’s “outrageous and abhorrent” act “betrayed the central tenet of Easter – which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Libs of TikTok reminded us that Biden’s idea of “trans visibility” is allowing a transgender to flash his fake breasts on the White House lawn, while many on X noted how “visibility” is hardly a problem for transgender people and others in the LGBTQ community.

Meanwhile, Dr. Michael Brown wrote in a piece posted on The Stream yesterday that Biden’s proclamation is further proof that “America Is in Moral Freefall.”
No Religious Themes on Eggs for Today’s White House Easter Egg Roll
Perhaps you’re thinking this is not the Biden administration shoving a deliberate thumb into the eye of Christians; it just happens that the annual Transgender Day of Visibility falls this year on Easter. And it just happens that the White House released the statement announcing it on Good Friday. However, the proof that this is intentional is as wide as the White House lawn. The Biden administration has banned religious themes from an Easter egg-designing contest that’s part of its annual Easter Egg Roll festivities.
The children participating in the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” event were instructed that their submissions “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.” Let that sink in: The White House is banning Christianity from an Easter-themed event.
NY Governor Lights Up New York Skyline in Rainbow Colors for Easter
Biden isn’t the only Democrat politician to trade the Savior for Baal. Yesterday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul similarly ordered 13 New York landmarks to be lit up in rainbow colors to honor this “Transgender Day of Visibility.”
This is a far cry from the days of old.

Hochul herself was lit up on Friday. She tried crashing the wake of murdered NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, but was confronted by Diller’s uncle and quickly left to the sound of cheers. ‘We don’t want you here. You’re not wanted here,” the uncle told her, according to the New York Post. “You have blood on your hands. If you want to do something, change the bail laws.”
The man charged with Diller’s murder had been arrested twenty-one times before opening fire on him during a traffic stop in Queens on March 25.
Our Only Hope
Laurie said the White House abandoning Christianity for transgender insanity is “really hard to believe.”
So much today is hard to believe, including violent offenders being allowed to roam the streets, free to gun down young police officers. A president who is more worried about using the word “illegal” than an illegal immigrant savagely murdering a young woman. Women standing in the streets who are happy to “shout” their abortions. Society, as The Federalist writes, again embracing paganism.
Concludes Laurie: “It’s time to turn back to God, not turn our backs on God. We need to repent and pray for a spiritual awakening in America. It is our only hope.”
