Happy Monday!
Are yer Irish eyes a-groggy? Let’s see if today’s Brew can get your blood flowing a little faster—which is fitting, since the word of the day seems to be “bloodbath.”
Media Hysteria After Trump Predicts “Bloodbath” if He Loses (But He Was Talking About Auto Industry)
Let’s kick off the week by reciting the “First Law of Snake News”: “Any news story about Donald Trump that has the media hyperventilating will be proven false, usually with 24 hours.”
Last week alone saw the headlines “TRUMP TRIED TO GRAB STEERING WHEEL FROM SECRET SERVICE ON J6” and “TRUMP NEVER ASKED FOR 10,000 NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS” narratives disproven just in time for a new one to emerge over the weekend.
The new narrative claims that the violent, election-denying dictator-in-waiting Donald Trump declared at his Ohio rally Saturday there would be a “bloodbath” if he loses the presidential election in November. MAGA armies will rampage through the streets! The bodies of non-Deplorables will pile up faster than the national debt! The Orange Man makes Haiti’s Barbecue look like Mr. Rogers!
The Biden-Harris campaign similarly expressed its horror.

There’s just one problem. Trump was talking specifically about what would happen to the American auto industry if Democrats are reelected and keep pushing U.S. job-killing electric vehicle mandates.
We are witnessing the invention of the “bloodbath” hoax in real-time

It’s yet another hoax. But don’t be surprised. As The Stream reported a couple of weeks back, Joe Biden’s election strategy includes “going for the jugular,” throwing all manner of slurs against Trump in order to goad him into “going haywire.” And media acolytes like NBC News are happy to play along.

Netanyahu Responds to Schumer
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, as well as Fox & Friends, to respond to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s call for his removal. In what Biden called a “good speech” last week, Schumer demanded an immediate cease-fire in Gaza and described Netanyahu as an “obstacle to peace.” You’d think decapitating children, raping and murdering hundreds of people, and continuing to hold hostages would be a much bigger obstacle to peace than the leader of the nation that has been beset by a terrorist organization for decades wanting to rid the world of said terrorists once and for all, but what do we know? None of us here are Democratic senators watching Biden losing crucial Muslim votes in Minnesota and Michigan.) Stream boss Karla Dial covers what Netanyahu had say about Schumer’s “totally inappropriate” remarks.
Kudos to Netanyahu for not simply telling Schumer to take a flying leap off the Washington Monument.
Dossier Reveals Depth of UN Involvement with Hamas
Meanwhile, Fox News obtained the dossier the Israelis are using to document the intimate and deadly connection between Hamas and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA.) At least 15 agency employees actively participated in the atrocities committed on October 7 in Israel. Investigators believe 17% of UNRWA’s 8,300 teachers and 20% of its 500 principals and deputy principals are actual members of Hamas. The dossier concludes that “in steady state and in contingency state, the Hamas regime coordinates activities with UNRWA.”
Suspicious of those ties, President Donald Trump cut off funding to the agency in 2018, only to have Biden reverse the ban when he took office, though he suspended funding this January after UNRWA’s Hamas connections were revealed. However, Vice President Kamala Harris’s step-daughter, designer Ella Emhoff, is publicly raising money for the Hamas-friendly relief organization.
Indiana High School Sued For Prayer Ban
Two Christian students at Lake Central High School in Indiana are suing their district because their track coach prohibited them from praying together before a meet. According to the suit filed by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), the girls gathered with several of their teammates to pray before a meet in late February, only for theircoach to warn them, “Don’t let me see you do that again.”
Before their next meet, the coach again warned the students not to pray as a group, allowing only a “moment of reflection” to be taken individually or in groups of two or three. Moreover, they were warned “not to give the appearance that they are praying” at any time before, during, or after track meets.
ACLJ contacted the school district because the girls had a track meet coming up. When administrators failed to respond, ACLJ filed suit on March 7, accusing the school of violating the students’ religious and constitutional rights.
As the Supreme Court explained more than 50 years ago in Tinker v. Des Moines Independent School District, 393 U.S. 503, 506 (1969), students do not “shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.” Indeed, “[t]he vigilant protection of constitutional freedoms is nowhere more vital than in the community of American schools.” School officials may not censor student speech because of the religious content of that speech.
Riley Gaines Leads Female Athletes in Suit Against NCAA Trans Policy
Meanwhile, swimmer Riley Gaines has joined about a dozen other female athletes who have sued the NCAA over its policy allowing biological men to compete in women’s events. The athletes say that losing out to men has cost them victories, scholarships and other tangible benefits, to say nothing of violating Title IX.
“We’re not just fighting for ourselves, we’re fighting for every young girl who dreams of competing in sports,” Gaines said in a statement. “I urge anyone who cares about protecting women’s sport to help get behind us.”
